About the Maya Pyramids

"The possession of Knowledge, unless accompanied by a manifestation (of) and expression in Action, is like the hoarding of precious metals-a vain and foolish thing.
Knowledge, like wealth, is intended for Use. The Law of Use is Universal, and he who violates it suffers by reason of his conflict with natural forces."--The Kybalion.

The scope of this page is to introduce basic elements of Mayan pyramids, and speculate on the purposes for which they were designed. Much of the material is in the public domain, such as the writings of The Kybalion, by "Three Initiates" (available from the Gutenberg Project).

Future enhancements will include tying together disparate elements such as pyramids and other structures made by diverse peoples, including Egyptians, Incas, Southeast Asians, and the Middle and Far East.

No writing on these topics would be complete without referencing the Hunaab-Ku.

The ancients knew there was great power in mathematics, astronomy, sound (the name of God), writings (the WORD), and colors.

There are many types of Mayan Pyramids, each intended for different purposes.
Some are for healing, others for transport, while there are many of whose purposes are not known to us.

Whether the pyramids have 45, 70 (Saturn/Tikal's Pyramid) or other angularities, they all share some common elements, such as the height-to-width ratios.

One thing interesting about the very word "pyramid," is the interpretation that it taken literally can mean "fire within."

Height = 1.6 x base
Width = 1.6 x height

This proportion is seen in botany and fractals.

Pyramids may be thought of as machines made of stone, further even as ancient computers.
